Having learned the existence of a different gospel—a perverted gospel of
Christ—should make everyone watchful of what he is listening to, so as not
to be unwittingly led to destruction.
24G.1 Can man, by his own effort, uncover what God hid in
mystery?
II Timothy 3:7 states:
always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (NKJV)
Man by his own effort, can never come to the knowledge of the truth
which God kept in secret mystery.
What about if one
has successfully finished years of study and learning in a seminary
theological school, or a religious college,
On his own effort, even years of diligent study of the scriptures in schools
of higher learning can guarantee his understanding of the truth. If he could, he would appear wiser and more
intelligent than God.
24G.2 What is the proof that the multitude of religious
preachers today who fill the airwaves, flood the printed media and speak
before throngs of people, have not come to the knowledge of the
truth?
Bible believing people agree that the
Holy Bible teaches the "one and only truth" written in the
Holy Bible.
-
But even after many years of
study of the scriptures and having successfully earned various degrees
in religious studies, these
numerous preachers of today, still do not preach the "one and only
truth" written in the Holy Bible.
- There are glaring
differences in what they preach as well us strong disagreements on the
points of doctrine.
These point to a fact that these preachers have
not come to the knowledge the "one and only truth" written in the Holy Bible.
This is the main reason for the proliferation of the Christian religion.
24G.3 What shall the Scriptures be to those who
are not messengers of God according to our Lord Jesus Christ?
12. "so that `seeing
they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not
understand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.'
'' (Mark
4:12, NKJV)
To them—who are not messengers of God— the
scriptures would be like "something that they can easily read but not fully
understand the message", thus the
meaning becomes different to various people.
Why?
Because
the knowledge of the mystery is not given to them by God.
Who
was gifted with this knowledge?
11. And He said
to them, "To you it has been given to know the mystery of the
kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in
parables, (Mark 4:11, NKJV)
Jesus said, "To
you" — the messengers of God — "it is given to know the mystery
of the kingdom of God."

Be aware of preachers
who are not sent by God for they were not given to know the mystery of the
kingdom of God. They too are
going out to evangelize the world, but with a different gospel"
— a
perverted gospel— that will surely lead man to destruction on the day of
Judgment.
