02B.1
Why do men need faith in God and the
Lord Jesus Christ?
In Romans 5:2, this is written:
Through Jesus, we have access by faith into this
favor where we now stand. We feel good, because now we can hope
for the glory of God. (IEB)
The same
verse in another version of the Bible:
through whom also we have access
by faith into this grace in
which we stand, and rejoice in
hope of the glory of God. (NKJV)
Men
need faith so he can gain access to
the favor or grace that God may
grant him through Jesus, so he can
hope for the glory of God.
02B.2
Is there another way to
approach God so man have access to the grace
through Jesus and also hope for the glory of God?
In
Hebrews 11:6, this is written:
And without faith it is
impossible to please God, for
whoever would approach him must
believe that he exists and that
he rewards those who seek him.
(NRSV
There is no other way. It is
impossible to please God without
faith.
What should a man do
before he can approach God?
He must believe that God exist and that He
rewards those who seek Him.
02B.3
What should a man
do to seek God?
"And you will
seek Me and find Me, when you search for
Me with all your heart." (Jeremiah
29:13, NKJV)
He must
seek God with all his heart.
02B.4
What kind of Faith should
a man posses so he can please God
and gain access to His grace through Jesus
Christ?
When a person is in Christ
Jesus, it doesn't matter whether he is
circumcised or not. The only thing
which is important is faith--the kind of
faith which works through love.
"Faith
which works through love" is the kind of
faith everyone must posses so he can please
God.
If a
truth-seeker comes up with faith by God's
standards — not by any man's yardstick —
then he will find himself drawing near
Christ, and getting the grace of God.
02B.5
Can
all men
have the faith in God and Christ?
In 1
Corinthians 2:14, Apostle Paul
explains:
A person who isn't spiritual
doesn't accept the things of
God's Spirit, for they are
nonsense to him. He can't
understand them because they are
spiritually evaluated.
( International Standard
Version)
The same verse in the other
versions of the bible:
But a natural man does
not accept the things of the
Spirit of God, for they are
foolishness to him; and he
cannot understand them,
because they are spiritually
appraised. (New American
Standard)
No, . . because, there
are persons who does not accept the
things of the Spirit of God—words of
God written in the Bible — because
they are nonsense or foolishness to him.
These are persons who are not
spiritual. They cannot understand
the Gospel of Christ because it is spiritually evaluated or
appraised.
