In order to be saved, man must seek to
understand the truth about salvation, which is
Gospel of Christ written in the Bible.
What is required of him so he may fully come to
the knowledge of the truth?

does a truth-seeker need to acquire first in
order that he may fully come to the knowledge of
the truth?
In Romans 5:2, this is written:
Through Jesus, we have access by faith into this
favor where we now stand. We feel good, because now we can hope
for the glory of God. (IEB)
It
is by faith that an earnest truth-seeker can gain access to the favor
or grace
that God may grant Him through Jesus,
so he can hope for the glory of God.
because of the
hope laid up for you in heaven. Of
this you have heard before in the
word of the truth, the gospel (Colossians
1:5, RSV)
This hope for the
glory of God in heaven is written in the
word of the truth—the Gospel.
Thus, Faith is the key to the truth,
and the truth is in the Gospel of
Christ.

Why should a truth-seeker
strive acquire the faith required to gain access
to God's grace through Christ Jesus?
In Hebrews 11:6, this is
written:
Now it is impossible to please
God without faith, since anyone
who comes to him must believe
that he exists and rewards those
who seek him. (NJB)
Try as he may
to come to God without faith, he will
completely fail. For it is
impossible to please God without
faith.

What kind of Faith a
truth-seeker must posses so he can please God
and gain access to His grace through Jesus
Christ?
When a person is in Christ
Jesus, it doesn't matter whether he is
circumcised or not. The only thing
which is important is faith--the kind of
faith which works through love.
"Faith
which works through love" is the kind of
faith everyone must posses so he can please
God.
If a
truth-seeker comes up with faith by God's
standards—not by any man's yardstick—then he will find himself drawing near
Christ, and getting the grace of God.
