10A.   Man Should Be Made Holy Before He Can Serve God

Man has always been very special to God that He had a very special plan for him even before the foundation of the world.  It was God's purpose when He created him that "man should be Holy and blameless before Him in love". (Lesson 08)

In Ephesians 1:4, Apostle Paul said:

In Christ, God chose us before the world began. He wanted us to be holy and spotless before Him in love. (Ephesians 1:4, IEB)

The same verse in other versions of the Bible:

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, (NKJV)

Thus he chose us in Christ before the world was made
to be holy and faultless before him in love, (NJB)

God wanted man to serve Him "on the basis of love", But, in order for man to serve Him on the basis of love, man must first be made holy and spotless or without blame or  faultless.  Thus, man must be sanctified or freed from sin before he can serve God.

Becoming holy or sanctified—freed from sin, is the only way man can serve and worship God in truth with all his heart, with all his soul and with all his mind. This is the only way man can fulfill  the great and sublime purpose of God in creating him.

It is of utmost importance that man should fully understand the workings behind God's plan on how man can be holy or sanctified—freed from sin, so he can serve God. Knowing this will help man acquire the strong faith in God Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ, thus ultimately attain salvation on the day of Judgment.
