By Adam's transgression of the statute of God he was rejected by God.
He
was abandoned by God in order to suffer the
consequences of his disobedience. Today, as all
men have learned to ignore and defy the laws
and commandments of God, all will also be held accountable to God.
22C.1
Why is man no longer of God if the word
of God is rejected?
God's answer is written in I Samuel 15:23
For rebellion is as the
sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you
from being king.'' (NKJV)
Rejecting the word of God is considered by
God as rebellion and stubbornness. So if a man rejects God's words,
he will also be rejected by God.
22C.2 What
happens when man go astray or reject God's laws and ordinances?
In Isaiah 59:2, this is written:
But your iniquities have
separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so
that He will not hear. (NKJV)
Man's sin will separate him from God. God
will hide His face so that He will not hear man's pleas.
22C.3 How
will God consider those who transgress God's laws or sins against Him?
In Job 13:23-24, this is written:
How many are my
iniquities and sins? Make me know my transgression and my sin.
Why do You hide Your face, and regard me as Your enemy? (NKJV)
Not only does God hide His face from them,
God also consider them His enemies.
22C.4 Will God
accept the services and offerings of His enemies?
In Proverbs 1:28, this is written:
"Then they will call on me,
but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.
(Proverbs 1:28, NKJV)
They will
call on Him but He will not answer. They will seek Him but they will not find
Him. Thus, God will not accept their services nor offerings.

By rejecting the words of God, man will also be
rejected by God. Man's sin will separate him from God, as God
will hide His face so that He will not hear his pleas. Not only does God
hide His face from him, God will also consider him as enemy. They may
call on Him but He will not answer. They will seek Him but they will not
find Him. God will not accept man's services or offerings. As a result, man will be deprived of the
right to deify God, and will be abandoned by God in order to suffer the
consequences of his disobedience.
