30D.   Man Is Helpless Outside The Body Of Christ

Entering Christ the gate or door is entering Christ's Church through Him or simply becoming member of His body (His Church) and thus, he will be safe (John10:9). Yet, it is evident that many people do not see or realize that Christ the door, is the only way towards peace with God and salvation.

30D.1   How did Christ spelled out the fate of the man who is not in his Church or not a member of his Church?

In John 15:5, this is written:

"I' am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit;  for without Me you can do nothing." (NKJV)

The Lord Christ Jesus as head of the church, likened Himself to a vine and the members of His church as His branches.  The Lord said "without me, you can do nothing".  Man is helpless if he is not with the Lord. Man is helpless if he is not a member of Christ's body.

30D.2   What is the misfortune of a member which at first is connected to Him but latter was severed or separated from Him?

In John 15:6,  Christ states:

"If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned." (NKJV)

The member is likened to a branch that will wither when separated from the vine— Christ. These are the members of the Christ body or church who do not continue as members and latter on separated from Him. Without Christ's help they can do nothing, thus they turn back to sin which is punishable with the second death in the lake of fire.

30D.3   How does the Holy Scripture regard those who refuse to enter Christ's Church or those who are outside the Church?

According to Apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:12,

"that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world." NKJV)

Sadly, when they are regarded as without Christ. Without Christ's help, they have no hope and without God in the world.

30D.4   Will Christ answer for the sins of those people who are outside His Church?

Christ answers in John 8:24,

"Therefore I said to you that you will die of your sins;  for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."  (NKJV)

Definitely no. Christ will not answer for their sins.
Why? Simply because they do not belong to Christ; they are not His branches; they are not members of His body—the church.

Being outside His body, because they do not believe in Him, Christ's will not answer for their sins because it is contrary to God's law on sinners (Deut 24:16). Thus, they will die in their sins.

In emphasizing the need to enter the body of Christ, Christ Jesus likened Himself to a vine and the members of His body as His branches.  The Lord said "without me, you can do nothing".  Man will be helpless if he is not a member of Christ's body.  The member is likened to a branch that will wither when separated from the vine—Christ.

Unfortunately, there are the members of the Christ body or church who do not continue as members and latter on separated. Without Christ's help they can do nothing, thus they turn back to sin which is punishable with the second death in the lake of fire.

Sadly, there are also people who refuse to enter Christ's church. So, they are regarded as without Christ. Without Christ's help, they have no hope and without God in the world. Definitely, Christ will not answer for their sins because it is contrary to God's law on sinners. Simply because, they do not belong to Christ; they are not His branches; they are not members of His body—the church.
