Every soul that sinned shall die. This is
God's strict decree. (Topic-28C) But,
God made "Christ who committed no sin to be sin
for those who are in His Body". (Topic-28D) This
is the only way in which God's law on sinners
will not be violated.
30E.1 Why doesn't Christ answer
for the sins of those who are not in His Church?
The Lord Almighty has a Law recorded in Deuteronomy 24:16:
The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall
the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put
to death for his own sin. (Deuteronomy 24:16, NKJV)
Man is solely responsible for his own sins. He is
accountable to God for his own shortcomings and failings. A father
cannot even pay for the sins of his children
and vice versa. Man shall be put to death
for his own sin.
Ezekiel 18:20
corroborate the law:
Ez:18:20:
"The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.
(NKJV)
As per God's law, every man answers for
his sins. Every soul that sinned shall die. This is God's
strict decree.
30E.2
When Christ came, did He
changed the Law that every sinner shall die for his iniquity? Did He
came to this world to destroy the law?
In Mathew 5:17, Christ himself speaks:
"Do not think , that I came to
destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but
to fulfill." (NKJV)
He attest that He did not come to change or destroy God's Law.
On the contrary, He came to fulfill it.
30E.3
What is the proof that the
law on sinners has not been destroyed but fulfilled?
Ephesians 2:15 reveals:
having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
(NKJV)
The creation
of the One New Man did not destroy or
violate the Law. It is in conformity with
God's Law, Christ created in
Himself the One New Man. Thus, He took upon
Himself to answer for the sins of the people
who became members of His Body.
30E.4
What compose the One New
Man?
Colossians 1:18 clarifies:
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the
beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might
have the preeminence. (KJV)
The one new man is composed of two parts.
"The HEAD and the BODY" . In the ONE NEW MAN - -
Christ is the HEAD and the Church is His BODY.
In the eyes of God
CHRIST and his CHURCH is the One New Man.
30E.5
Who is responsible for the
sins of the Body? How
could Christ Christ save without going against the Law of God?
Christ said He came to fulfill the law and not to destroy it.
(Mat. 5:17) and that law is Everyman
shall be put to death for his own sin. (Deut.
24:16) How then could Christ save
without going against the law of God? In order for Christ
to answer for the sins of other people—His people, He created in
Himself the ONE NEW MAN from the two, (Eph. 2:15)
Christ being the Head and the Church His Body. (Col. 1:18) Being the Head of the Church, His Body, He is
the Savior of the Body. (Eph. 5:23)
In the eyes of God, Christ and His Church is the ONE NEW MAN,
thus when Christ died, He died for the members of His Church, His Body,
(without violating God's Law) By His blood they were put right
with God, and thereby saved them from anger or the wrath of God
(Rom.5:8-9) which will come on the day of Judgment day. (II
Peter 3: 3)

In accordance
with God's law on sinners, Man is
solely responsible for his own sins.
Every man answers for his sins. Every
soul that sinned shall die. This is
God's strict decree. This is the reason
why, the Lord Jesus cannot answer for the
sins of anyone who is not in His body. In
fact He said, "I did not come to
destroy but to fulfill". It is in
conformity with God's Law, that Christ
created in
Himself the One New Man. Thus, He took upon
Himself to answer for the sins of the people
who became members of His Body. For
Christ being head of the body, He is also
the Savior of the Body—the Church.
