The first thing that a person should do in
order to be saved is to listen from a
Preacher of God about the Message of God
about salvation.
46B.1
What is this message of God about salvation?
In Romans
1:16, Apostle Paul explains:
For I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ, for it is the
power of God to salvation for
everyone who believes, for the
Jew first and also for the Greek.
(NKJV)
The
same verse in another version of the
Bible:
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed
of this Good News about
Christ. It is God's powerful
method of bringing all who
believe it to heaven. This
message was preached first to
the Jews alone, but now everyone
is invited to come to God in
this same way. (LVB)
This
message or Good News is about
Christ. It is Gospel of Christ which is
the power of God to salvation for
everyone who believes. This
is also God's powerful method of
bringing all who believe it to heaven.

46B.2
How can anyone be sure
that he will be listening to a true
Preacher of God about the true Gospel of
Christ?
In 1
Corinthians 4:17, this is written:
That is the very reason I am
sending Timothy-to help you do
this. For he is my beloved and
trustworthy child in the Lord. He
will remind you of what I teach
about Christ Jesus in all the
churches wherever I go. (NLT)
The
Preacher
should be like that of Timothy, who was sent by
Apostle Paul, who was likewise sent by
God through Christ.
Please note: That Timothy as a true
Preacher of God, will only
"remind" or tell again what Apostle Paul
taught the early Christians, meaning he will
"not go beyond" what was taught by
Apostle Paul.
In
these last days, a true Preacher of God
should only teach what Apostle Paul
taught the early Christians, that is
he should "not go beyond what is written in the
Bible.
