We have
learned that by Adam's rejection of the word
or statute of God he was rejected by God,
and deprived the right to deify God.
Adam was abandoned by God in order to suffer the
consequences of his rebellion.18F.1
Why is man no longer of
God if the word of God is rejected?
God's answer
is written in I Samuel 15:23
For rebellion is as the sin of
witchcraft, and stubbornness is as
iniquity and idolatry. Because
you have rejected the word of the Lord,
He also has rejected you from being
king.'' (NKJV)
If man
rejects the word of God, he will also be
rejected by God. He will be abandoned by God
in order to suffer the consequences of his
rebellion.
18F.2
What does the Bible say about a man who says he knows
God but does not keep His commandments?
In I John 2: 3-4 is is written:
Now by this we know that we know Him, if
we keep His commandments. He who says, "I know Him,"
and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in
him. (NKJV)
The Bible call him a "Liar".
He who says
he knows God but disobeys His commandments is a liar.
Why? Because the truth is not in him.
It is not enough to know God.
He who claims to know God must obey His commandments.
18F.3
In such a situation will God still listen to men?
Will He allow men under His curse to deify Him?
God says in
Proverbs 1:28:
"Then they will call me, but I will
not answer; They will seek me
diligently, but they will not find me."
God
refuses to be deified by those who are under
His curse.
___________
By man's
rejection of the word of God, he was
rejected by God. Thus, the Lord God
refuses to be deified by those who are under His
curse. It should therefore be man's priority to return
back to God. Man must find the way to return to
God, so he can fulfill God's purpose in creating
him.
