The true Preachers of God are sent by God. In Romans 10:14-15, this are
written:
How then shall
they call on Him in whom they have not
believed? And how shall they believe in Him
of whom they have not heard? And how shall
they hear without a preacher? And how
will anyone go and tell them unless someone
sends him? And how will anyone go and
tell them unless someone sends him? . .
. . . (Romans 10:14, LVB)
Unless a Preacher
is not sent by God, he cannot preach the message
of of God. The scriptures are very clear in
teaching who are the true Preachers of God.
42C.1
Did God sent someone to
preach His message — the Gospel?
John 17:3, Jesus in His Prayer to
the Father in heaven said:
And this is
the way to have eternal life-to know you, the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth. (NLT)
The same verse in another
version of the Bible:
Now eternal
life means knowing you as the only true God and knowing
Jesus your messenger as Christ. (William's NewTestament)
Jesus
Christ was sent by God to earth. Jesus
Christ is the greatest messenger of God.
42C.2
Did Jesus Himself preach
the gospel, when He was here on earth?
In Mathew 9:35, Apostle Matthew said:
And Jesus went about all the cities
and villages, teaching in their
synagogues, preaching the gospel of the
kingdom, and healing every sickness
and every disease among the people. (NKJV)
Yes, Jesus went around, teaching and
preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom.
42C.3
Did Christ
gave to the Apostles the
authority to preach the Gospel?
In Mark 16:15, Jesus instructed the
Apostles:
And He said to them,
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
(NKJV)
Christ gave the authority to preach
the gospel to His Apostles.
He sent them to preach the gospel to
all creatures all over the world.
42C.4
Christ sent the Apostles to all the world. What kind of messengers
(bearer of news) were
the Apostles?
In 2 Corinthians 5:20, this is
written:
Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as
though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ
behalf, be reconciled to God. (II Cor. 5:20, NKJV)
The same verse in another version
of the bible:
Therefore,
we are Christ's representatives, as though God were
pleading through us. We plead on Christ's behalf: "Be
reconciled to God!" (ISV)
The Apostles became ambassadors or
representatives (messengers) for Christ.
42C.5
How did the Apostles see themselves as
ambassadors or representatives (messengers) for
Christ?
Therefore,
we are Christ's representatives, as though God were
pleading through us. We plead on Christ's behalf: "Be
reconciled to God!" (ISV)
The
Apostles see themselves - - - "as though God is pleading through them"
And they are pleading on "Christ behalf".
42C.6
Did the Apostles also gave
the authority to other people to preach the
Gospel?
In 1
Corinthians 4:17, this is written:
That
is the very reason I am sending
Timothy-to help you do this. For he
is my beloved and trustworthy child in
the Lord. He will remind you of what I
teach about Christ Jesus in all the
churches wherever I go. (NLT)
Apostle
Paul also sent Timothy to the church in Corinth.
Timothy is a faithful minister and
missionary under Apostle Paul. As a true
Preacher of God, please note, that he only
will remind or repeat what Apostle Paul
taught about Christ Jesus.
__________________
God sent Christ to earth to
preach the gospel and in turn Christ sent the Apostles to preach
the gospel to everyone in the world. By this means, it is actually God
who is pleading through Christ and through the Apostles, to everyone
saying, "Be reconciled to God!"
In effect, Christ, the Apostles
and those sent by the Apostles to preach the Gospel are ambassadors
or messengers of God — the true Preachers of God.
