42D.   The Authority Of The True Preachers Of God

The true Preachers of God — as ambassadors or messengers of God, who was sent by God were given the proper authority to do their assigned work.

42D.1   What is the authority of the Apostles, as ambassadors or messengers of God?

In 2 Cor. 5:18, Apostle Paul explains:

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. (II Cor. 5:18, NKJV)

God through Christ gave the Apostles, as messengers of God the authority to preach the Gospel — God's message,  by giving them the "Ministry of Reconciliation".
God through Christ reconciled man to Himself and gave to His messengers — the Apostles, the ministry of reconciliation.

42D.2   What did God entrust to His Messengers — the Apostles, as "Ministers of Reconciliation"?

In 2 Corinthians 5:19, Apostle Paul explains further:

That God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ , not counting men's sin against them.  And He committed to us the message of reconciliation. (II Cor. 5:19, NIV)

The same verse in other version of the bible:

We are to tell how God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not charging men's transgressions to their account, and that He has entrusted to us the Message of this reconciliation. (Weymouth's New Testament)

God through Christ, entrusted the "message of Reconciliation" to the Apostles, as ministers of reconciliation, so that anyone may have a chance to be reconciled to God through Christ, and that their sins may not be counted against them. They are the true Preachers of God.

42D.3   Can any preacher, "who are not a messengers of God", preach the message of God?

In Romans 10:15, Apostle Paul gave the answer rhetorically:

And how can they preach unless they are sent?  As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" (Romans 10:15, NIV)

No, any preacher who is not sent by God or is not a messenger of God. He cannot preach the message of God, simply because he was not entrusted the message of reconciliation. Said preacher has no authority to preach the Gospel. He is not a True Preacher of God.

_______________

God through Christ gave the Apostles, as messengers of God the authority to preach the Gospel — God's message,  by giving them the "Ministry of Reconciliation".  It is to them that the Message of reconciliation was entrusted, so that anyone may have a chance to be reconciled to God through Christ, and that their sins may not be counted against them. They are the true Preachers of God.
